Our Certifications

June 27, 2019

At On Time Precision Components, we are dedicated to providing the best possible service to our clients. This starts with not only meeting all quality standards, but keeping our certifications up to date. We are ISO 9001-2015 and Controlled Goods certified, as well as RoHS and DFARS compliant with all of our materials.

What does that mean? Let’s break it down:

ISO 9001-2015

ISO stands for the International Standards Act which is instrumental in facilitating international trade. This encompasses world-class specifications for products, services, and systems that ensure quality, safety, and efficiency across the board. Following these standards closely allows us to minimize errors and greatly increase productivity…ultimately saving you money!

Controlled Goods

The Controlled Goods Program is mandated by the Defence Production Act of Canada that regulates and controls the examination, possession, or transfer of controlled goods. Being Controlled Goods Certified means we can fully support our clients in the military and security sectors with precision components that are safe and effective. This program requires that all of our employees be background checked.

RoHS Compliant

RoHS, or Restriction of Hazardous Substances Compliancy, requires businesses that sell applicable electrical products, equipment, sub-assemblies, cables, components, or spare parts directly to RoHS-directed countries to follow a guideline for what materials they cannot use. This has gone from a list of six materials, now to ten – taking effect July 22, 2019.

DFARS Compliant

The Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (or DFARS) was designed by the United States Department of Defense with specific acquisition regulations that contractors must follow in the procurement process for goods and services. In the specialty metal section, the regulation states that a variety of alloys (including stainless steels) must be melted in a qualifying country.

With these certifications strictly maintained, our clients can trust that On Time Precision Components will get the job done right and to the highest quality standards in every industry we work with!
